Pharmacy Technician - Sterile IV Compounding

We are seeking a professional and skilled Pharmacy Technicians, to help one of our inpatient pharmacies in the sterile clean room compounding area. 

Previous sterile IV compounding experience, minimum 1 year, is REQUIRED!

 

Location

Chicago, IL

Schedule

Monday - Friday. 0800-1630 OR 7:00am-3:30pm. No weekends!

Requirements

  • Working within a hospital or infusion setting
  • Illinois Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification
  • Sterile IV compounding USP797 or USP800 experience
  • Chemo compounding experience is a great bonus, but no required

Duties & Responsibilities

  • IV compounding in accordance with USP797 and USP800
  • Compounding TPNs, ABs, and Chemo IVs
  • Keeping the sterile environment clean

Compensation

Depends on experience, skill set, availability and distance.
