Pharmacy Technician - sterile IV compounding
We are seeking a professional and skilled Pharmacy Technician, to help one of our infusion pharmacies in the sterile clean room compounding area. This is for an AM shift.
Previous sterile IV compounding experience, minimum 6 months, is REQUIRED!
The ideal Pharmacy Technician candidate, is also required to have an active IL Pharmacy Tech license.
Location
New Lenox, IL
Schedule
8am to 4:30pm; Mon through Fri. No weekends.
Requirements
- Prior sterile IV compounding experience (USP797)
- Illinois Pharmacy Technician license, that is active and in good standing
- PTCB or ExCPT certification
- HS Diploma or GED
Duties & Responsibilities
- Sterile IV compounding, in accordance with USP797
- Compounding TPNs, ABs, and more
- Keeping the sterile environment clean
